Math answer settings
Numbers are parsed with the selected format. Compatible units are converted before exact, absolute, relative, or significant-figure tolerance is applied. This deterministic result sets the score.
Setting one up
Choose Math, enter the expected answer, set tolerance and number format, configure units and working, then test a sample answer before publishing.
Show your working
Working can be off, optional, or required. AI feedback on working is commentary only and never changes or delays the score.
Quick reference
Schema version 2 and CSV preserve Math settings. Print and PDF use canonical validated answers. FlexiQuiz skips Math with a warning because it cannot preserve these rules.
Math telemetry contains outcomes and timing, never learner answers.
