QuizMachine lets you build and share a quiz in under five minutes โ no spreadsheets, no configuration overhead. This guide walks you through the full flow from blank canvas to reviewing your first responses.
Step 1 โ Create a new quiz
- Click Create on the Dashboard.
- Enter a quiz name (e.g. "New Hire Onboarding Check").
- You land in the Quiz Editor with one blank page.
Step 2 โ Add a question
- Click Add item โ Question.
- Choose Single Choice (Radio) from the type selector.
- Type the question body, e.g. "Which department handles payroll?"
- Add 3โ4 options; tick the correct one.
- Hit Save question โ it appears on the page canvas.
- Repeat for 3โ5 questions.
Step 3 โ Configure basic settings
Open the Configure tab and set the essentials:
- Passing score: 70 % (default).
- Optional: set a time limit (e.g. 10 minutes).
- Turn on Show feedback to takers to reveal explanations after submission.
Step 4 โ Publish
- Switch to the Publish tab.
- Click Publish (Open) โ the status changes to "Open".
- The Shareable link appears; copy it.
Step 5 โ Share and collect responses
- Paste the link into an email, Slack, or any LMS.
- Takers open the link โ no login required.
Step 6 โ Review results
- Return to the Dashboard and click Analyze on the quiz.
- See the completion rate, average score, and per-question breakdown.
- Export to CSV for deeper analysis.
