Build a repeatable certification assessment with timers, attempts, and evidence

~6 min read ยท August 2026

Make pass rules, time limits, attempt policy, grading, and result evidence consistent enough to repeat across certification cohorts.

Before you start

Sign in as a quiz author. Start with a quiz you own, because editing, importing, publishing, and assignment actions reject users who do not own that quiz.

Work through the product

Set the passing percentage, quiz or page time limits, required questions, and maximum attempts before publishing. Preview both passing and failing paths, decide when feedback and results appear, monitor attempt history, grant exceptions with an audit note, and retain the appropriate report, print view, or result PDF.

Expected result

The assessment applies one repeatable pass rule and attempt policy, while reports, printable output, and result PDFs provide evidence appropriate to the configured workflow.

Limits, privacy, and control

Exports and result PDFs can contain identities and submitted answers. Share them only with authorized recipients and remember that extended analytics and XLSX require Premium or above.
