Hierarchy Graph — Check answer

~4 min read

Some concepts are structural, such as heaps, organisational charts, and information-system pyramids. A hierarchy graph question asks the taker to build that structure and is available on every plan.

The taker drags nodes into a pyramid, draws directed edges, and explains their reasoning. QuizMachine grades the result automatically.

Turn on both settings

Enable immediate feedback on the question and enable showing answers during the quiz. For Math or Hierarchy Graph, choose one to three checks; the default is two. Preview lets the author check without consuming learner attempts.

Immediate feedback · Max attempts: 1–3

Show answers & feedback as each page is completed

Fill every slot and the explanation when required before checking. Before locking, an incorrect check reports only how many relationships are missing or wrong. After locking, the correct edges are shown.

The server counts checks. A correct check or the last allowed check locks the answer and reveals the correct answer and feedback. The correct answer is not sent before locking. A locked answer cannot be changed when submitting.
